Our Vision

How can I join the Mentorship Program?
- Make the decision to pursue medical residency in the U.S.
- Create a USMLE ID through ECFMG (Educational Commission of Foreign Medical Graduates).
- Interview with the Global Health department (An interview request can be sent to cesarmendez@xochicalco.edu.mx and isabella@ceneu.com).
Applicant Profile
Prospective students aspiring to enroll in our medical school should possess the following competencies:
- An awareness of the human body and its vital processes, as well as factors contributing to health and disease.
- The ability to identify problems, formulate hypotheses, apply the scientific method and aptly consult reliable sources as part of the experiment and research process.
- The ability to interpret and produce written messages in English and Spanish accurately.
- A high level of responsibility and dedication regarding one's studies, workload and deadlines.
''At Xochicalco University, we use a mixed modular teaching system that facilitates an early introduction to clinical medicine. Our curriculum is based on the application of medical knowledge in clinics and hospitals through direct interaction with patients and their genuine health conditions, and is complemented by our Public Health in Communities program, which allows students to achieve meaningful hands-on and service learning from the first semester."

Admissions Requirements
- SAT Exam a Basic Sciences Exam (in English)
- Applicants will complete the TOEFL exam following the admission exam. A passing score of over 600 points is required.
- Birth certificate, proof of address, high school transcript and diploma, immigration form, and provisional CURP.
- Interview with the coordinator of the School of Medicine.
Additional Information
- If the student passes the admission exam but not the English exam, they may enroll in the International Medicine program as long as they enroll in the English leveling course, a 12-week class with a cost of $3,500.00 MXN pesos.
- We cannot offer scholarships as part of the International Medicine program. However, international students can apply for student loans for the program through Sallie Mae. https://www.salliemae.com/
- Clinical rotations across various U.S.-based institutions in New York, Texas, and beyond are available, for an additional cost.
